Where on earth is Malaysia?

Malaysia is a tropical paradise situated 7 degrees north of the equator in the heart of Southeast Asia. Comprising of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak on the island of Borneo, they cover a total land area of 329,758 sq km. The climate is warm and humid (21C to 32C) all year round with cooler and wetter prevails in the East Coast areas during our monsoon season from early October to late March.

Malaysia is a multi-racial, cultural and religion country. The Malays or Bumiputras, Chinese, Indians and a diverse group of indigenous people in Sabah and Sarawak live together in harmony. While Islam is the official religion in Malaysia, Buddhism. Hinduism and Christianity are practiced freely. Bahasa Malaysia is our national language although Mandarin and Cantonese, Tamil and English are also widely spoken. As such conversing with a Malaysian poses no difficulties.
